Free, private email

Your letters, wrapped in the Gospel.

If you can’t spread the word of God, then let your messages be delivered by those who worship Him.

Why Epistle

Fundamentally different.

Every email carries a layer you never see: its headers. Mail servers read them to know where a letter came from, who sent it and what it is, so the server on the other end can open it and trust it’s safe.

Epistle’s servers are Christian. They baptise every letter before it leaves: scripture and a confession of faith go into its headers, so the Gospel is delivered to every mail server they speak to.

The person you write to sees your letter exactly as you wrote it. The Word travels with it, everywhere it goes.

See how it works

Encrypted, automatically

Just like a wax seal.

Hundreds of years ago, a letter was closed with a wax seal. Nobody could read it on the way without breaking the seal, so only the recipient ever broke it open. Epistle does the same for your email, with PGP, the open, decentralised standard for private email that no company owns. It all happens by itself: no settings, no key files, nothing to learn. Just look for the gold wax seal: if it’s there, your letter is sealed.

  3. ReadEncrypted letters open by themselves. A badge tells you they were sealed.
