No corporation. One developer.

Epistle is built and run by one person. The mail server sits on a physical machine in Germany. Your letters are never the product.

Who’s behind Epistle

Not a corporation.

Epistle isn’t a company with shareholders to please or an advertising business to feed. It’s built and looked after by a single developer.

Your data is not for sale, and never will be. Nobody profiles your letters, nobody sells your address, and nobody fills your inbox with adverts.

The backend, mailcow, runs on a physical server in Germany: your mailbox, the webmail and the service behind the app all live there. Outgoing mail is delivered through Mailgun, so your letters reach every inbox reliably.

Wrapped in the Gospel

How is your email wrapped in the Gospel?

Every letter you send from Epistle carries scripture with it.

In the headers. Each email travels with a verse written into its headers, the part of a message that mail servers read on the way to its destination.

Inside the letter. When you write with formatting, the email also carries verses as invisible text, woven into the message itself.

The person you write to sees your letter exactly as you wrote it. The Gospel goes along with it, everywhere it’s delivered.

Grace be with you.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
